Tour Itinerary

From Yerevan to Vayots Dzor, Sevan, Dilijan, Lori, Gyumri, Garni and Geghard.

Day 01

Arrival in Yerevan

Arrival and transfer to hotel. Evening free to relax and enjoy the city atmosphere. Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 02

Yerevan City Tour

Breakfast. Yerevan city tour with Mother Armenia, Matenadaran and Cascade complex. Free time for snacks and beverages, Opera House, Northern Avenue and Republic Square. Later visit the Genocide Memorial Complex, followed by welcome dinner. Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 03

Yerevan – Khor Virap – Areni – Arpa Protected Area – Noravank – Yeghegis

Breakfast and check-out. From this day, all trips are on 4x4 vehicles. Drive to Khor Virap monastery for an early photo stop, then visit Areni-1 cave, where the oldest footwear and winery accessories were excavated.

Continue with an off-road trip to Arpa protected area, coffee break on the cliffs, Noravank monastery, lunch and wine tasting in a local winery. Overnight in Yeghegis.

Day 04

Yeghegis – Smbataberd – Selim Pass – Caravanserai – Sevan Lake

Breakfast and check-out. 4x4 trip to Smbataberd fortress with wild goats and impressive views. Drive to Selim Pass and visit Orbelian Caravanserai, located at 2,410 meters above sea level and known as one of the best-preserved caravanserais in Armenia.

Continue to Lake Sevan, lunch during the tour, boat trip on the lake and photo stop on the old road of Sevan. Proceed to Sevan Up Inn or Tsapatagh. Overnight.

Day 05

Sevan – Semyonovka – Gosh – Dilijan – Dimats – Dilijan

Breakfast and check-out. Drive through Semyonovka village to Lake Gosh, with a coffee break at the lake. Visit Goshavank monastery, lunch during the tour and return to Dilijan for hotel check-in. Evening trip to Mount Dimats with open-air dinner in the mountains. Back to hotel and overnight in Dilijan.

Day 06

Dilijan – Atan Village – Tsaghkashat – Dzoraget

Breakfast and drive to Lori Region, including Atan village and Tsaghkashat – Bear Head Rock off-road route. Lunch during the tour.

Hotel check-in at Avan Dzoraget. Evening free for garden walks by the riverside, indoor pool, sauna and relaxation. Overnight in Avan Dzoraget hotel.

Day 07

Dzoraget – Trchkan – Gyumri – Yerevan

Breakfast. Drive from Lori to Shirak. Visit Trchkan waterfall, enjoy a cultural walking tour in Gyumri, lunch in Gyumri and drive back to Yerevan. Evening free. Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 08

Yerevan – Geghard – Garni – Azat Reservoir – Yerevan

After breakfast, visit Geghard Monastery and Garni Temple. Enjoy an authentic farewell lunch in Garni with lavash baking. Drive through Azat River Gorge to Azat Reservoir, then return to Yerevan. Short rest and evening free. Overnight in Yerevan.

Day 09

Departure

Transfer to airport and departure.

Salve, siamo 4 amiche da poco rientrate da un bellissimo viaggio in Georgia e Armenia organizzato interamente da Levontravel, che dire, ottima agenzia situata proprio nel centro di Yerevan difronte all’hotel dove abbiamo alloggiato, di entrambi i paesi ottime le guide molto preparate e parlanti perfettamente italiano, ottimi gli autisti sempre pronti ad accontentarci alle nostre richieste, ottimi i mezzi su cui viaggiavamo ( con acqua sempre fresca a disposizione), ottimi gli hotel, abbiamo mangiato benissimo ( troppo), quindi grazie a questi 2 splendidi paesi di cui conoscevamo ben poco. Un ringraziamento perticolare va però a ELINA il nostro contatto di Levontravel sempre a disposizione, sempre pronta a rispondere ai nostri dubbi, prima, durante e dopo il nostro viaggio ( praticamente anche di notte) Grazie di cuore Elina sei stata molto importante per noi e grazie Levontravel.
