December is a month to make conclusions and sum up the work. And what a year it’s been! Levon Travel highlights from 2024 are exceptional. In addition to helping our clients with reaching their dream destinations, we continued our growth.
We cannot but mention all the interesting events that we attended this year to meet new clients, share stories with industry leaders, pick up fresh ideas, and present Armenia’s tourism potential.
This year was about meeting incredible people, exploring exciting opportunities, and learning how to make your travel experience even better. This year Levon Travel Agency celebrated the 33rd anniversary of its operations in Armenia and we are happy to present our professional highlights from 2024.
ITB Berlin
One of the key events that Levon Travel is traditionally attending during the year is the prestigious ITB Berlin exhibition, one of the most significant events in the global tourism industry.
This year it was held from March 5 to 7 when the trade show hosted industry professionals and thousands of exhibitors from over 170 countries.
As a co-exhibitor at Armenia’s stand, Levon Travel showcased the opportunities that Armenia can offer. The agency has been a consistent participant in ITB Berlin since 1999 and this year brought another fascinating experience to share ideas, network and build ties with agencies and clients from Europe and beyond.
This year’s trade show attracted nearly 100,000 attendees and over 5,500 exhibitors, underscoring its significance in the global tourism industry.
ITB Berlin stands out for its comprehensive representation of the travel sector, bringing together tour operators, airlines, hotels, and technology providers under one roof. The 2024 edition emphasized themes such as artificial intelligence, sustainability, and the evolving dynamics of the tourism market.
ATM Dubai
The list of the Levon Travel highlights from 2024 includes participation in the 31st edition of the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) in Dubai. This premier B2B event set a record attracting over 46,000 industry professionals from more than 160 countries.
ATM 2024, themed “Empowering Innovation: Transforming Travel Through Entrepreneurship,” served as a dynamic platform for showing the latest trends and innovations in the travel industry.
During the event, Levon Travel had a chance to promote Armenia as a unique and compelling travel destination for tourists from the Middle East as well. During the event, Levon Travel emphasized its expertise in crafting personalized tours and its specialization in MICE.
By the way, a significant development enhancing tourism between Armenia and the UAE was the visa exemption for Armenian travelers to the UAE, effective February 1, 2024. Thus, the agency was focused on this direction during the year and enlarged the base of its clients.
AmCham and UN Tourism Global Conference
2024 was a big year for key events in Armenia, and Levon Travel was right in the middle of the action. The agency had the chance to be part of some incredible gatherings that put our country on the global map.
One of the highlights of the year was joining the American Chamber of Commerce in Armenia. Becoming a member was just the start. Attending the events organized by the Chamber opened doors to exciting collaborations. It’s another platform to share our expertise and expand our base of loyal clients.
Another standout moment was the 8th UN World Tourism Organization’s Global Conference on Wine Tourism, hosted in Yerevan. The theme, “Heritage in Every Bottle,” couldn’t have been more fitting. This wasn’t just about wine but celebrating Armenia’s ancient winemaking traditions and brainstorming fresh ways to connect tourism with our rich cultural heritage.
The masterclasses at top wineries were a personal favorite. Nothing beats learning from the pros while sipping on world-class wine with the Armenian landscapes on the background.
Reflecting on 2024
This year was marked by participation in key global and local events that showcased Armenia’s tourism potential. From the prestigious ITB Berlin and Arabian Travel Market in Dubai to local highlights, Levon Travel made significant efforts. The agency was constantly engaged in networking, innovation, and client engagement.
As we look ahead to 2025, we’re excited to continue growing and exploring new opportunities. With a focus on innovation and collaboration, the agency hopes to strengthen connections and create even more memorable journeys for the clients.
