Morocco with Levon Travel

For many Armenian travelers, Morocco still feels like a mystery. Not as familiar as the Middle East, not as widely traveled as Egypt, and rarely featured in standard tour packages.

That’s exactly what makes it so exciting. Morocco is one of those destinations that surprises you at every step with its colors, contrasts, and energy.

You can wake up in a historic riad, ride camels at sunset, explore UNESCO-listed kasbahs, and end your day with mint tea in a buzzing square.

Morocco with Levon Travel becomes not just exotic, but accessible and well-organized. Let’s see what the 2026 tour will offer.

Why Choose Morocco?

Morocco is a great choice if you want variety. In one trip, you can walk through historic imperial cities, drive through the Atlas Mountains, spend a night in the Sahara, and finish by the Atlantic coast.

Distances are manageable, and every few hours the scenery changes completely, which keeps the journey dynamic and interesting.

It has nine UNESCO World Heritage Sites, centuries-old medinas still used as living neighborhoods, and landscapes that feel completely different from anything in Armenia.

An 8–12 day trip is enough to see the highlights without rushing or feeling overloaded.

For Armenian travelers, Morocco is also simpler than it sounds. Flights are available with one connection via Paris.  It’s exotic, yes, but not complicated. Moroccan cuisine alone is worth the trip with its slow-cooked tagines and fresh seafood on the coast.

Morocco Tour Highlights

A Morocco tour 2026 will include the main sites and will embrace as much activities as possible.

Casablanca & Rabat – Modern Morocco Meets History

The journey begins in Casablanca, Morocco’s economic capital, where wide boulevards and ocean views set the tone. One of the highlights here is the iconic Hassan II Mosque, dramatically located above the Atlantic. From Casablanca, the route continues to Rabat, the country’s capital, where royal palaces, historic towers, and calm coastal scenery offer a softer introduction to Moroccan culture.

Chefchaouen: The Blue City

view of Morocco, blue and white houses

Tucked into the Rif Mountains, Chefchaouen feels completely different from anywhere else in the country. Famous for its blue-painted streets, this small town is relaxed, walkable, and perfect for slow exploration.

It’s a favorite for photography, local crafts, and simply enjoying the calm pace before moving on to busier cities.

Fes – Morocco’s Cultural Heart

In Fes, you step into one of the world’s oldest living medinas. Narrow streets, traditional workshops, and historic madrasas make this city feel authentic and untouched by time.

Sahara Desert – A Night Under the Stars

The drive south leads to the edge of the Desert, one of the most memorable parts of the tour. А journey in 4×4 vehicles with drivers through the black desert is planned. Stop to visit the nomads and enjoy mint tea prepared over a wood fire, which Sahara will give you energy to continue the journey.

Aït Benhaddou & Marrakech – From Kasbahs to Energy

Passing through the famous fortified village of Ait Benhaddou, the route ends in Marrakech. Here, lively souks, palaces, gardens, and the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa square bring the journey to an energetic and colorful finale.

Useful Travel Tips for Armenian Tourists

Morocco may feel unfamiliar at first, but with a few simple tips, traveling there is smooth and comfortable.

The local currency is the Moroccan dirham, and while cards are accepted in hotels and larger restaurants, cash is essential for markets, small cafés, and tips.

Arabic and French are the main languages, but English is widely understood in tourist areas, hotels, and restaurants.

Packing smart makes a big difference. Morocco’s climate changes depending on where you are. For cities, lightweight clothes, comfortable walking shoes, and sun protection are a must. For the desert, evenings can be cool, so a light jacket or sweater is useful. Modest clothing is recommended, especially in smaller towns and religious areas. Nothing extreme, just covered shoulders and knees to stay comfortable and respectful.

The best time to visit Morocco is spring (March–May) and autumn (September–November). Temperatures are pleasant, cities are comfortable for walking, and desert tours are more enjoyable. These seasons offer the perfect balance between sightseeing and relaxation without extreme heat.

Traveling to Morocco with Levon Travel: How Is the Tour Organized

Traveling to Morocco with Levon Travel is designed to be smooth, structured, and stress-free.

The journey starts with flights from Yerevan with one connection via Paris, operated by Air France. Upon arrival in Morocco, travelers are welcomed at the airport by Alizes International staff, who assist both on arrival and departure.

The tour lasts 12 days and 11 nights, with accommodation carefully selected to reflect both comfort and local atmosphere. Travelers stay in a mix of hotels, traditional riads, and a desert bivouac, including a luxury camp in Merzouga.

Transportation within Morocco is organized by a 30-seat tourist bus, while desert areas are explored by 4×4 vehicles, including transfers between Merzouga and Erfoud and a guided desert tour. A guide accompanies the group throughout the journey.

In short, this Morocco tour is built for travelers who want to focus on the experience,  not the planning.
