35 Years on the Road: Levon Travel Sums Up 2025

For Levon Travel, 2025 was not just another busy year. It was a milestone. A year to look back, take a breath, and appreciate how far the journey has gone.

From welcoming international groups to Armenia to organizing carefully designed trips abroad, this year reminded us why we do what we do. Travel was not about ticking destinations off a list. It was about people, stories, and shared moments.

As Levon Travel sums up 2025, we celebrate 35 years on the road while continuing to move forward. Exploring new formats, new destinations, and new ideas.

This is a short look at what shaped our 2025. And a glimpse of what lies ahead.

Celebrating 35 Years of Levon Travel

2025 was a landmark year for Levon Travel as we proudly celebrated our 35th anniversary. The milestone was marked with an event at The Alexander, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Yerevan.

We were happy to host our clients, partners, and friends to honor the journey we’ve shared together. The evening was filled with speeches by Levon Travel’s founder, Garbis Titizan, and its directors over the past 35 years: Hrant Tokhatyan, Anahit Papazyan, and Tsovinar Martirosyan.

Being in business for over three decades is rare in any industry, and even more remarkable in a field as dynamic as travel. Levon Travel’s Yerevan office, founded by Garbis Titizian, first opened its doors in 1991, making it one of the earliest travel agencies in post-Soviet Armenia.

It was also the first American investment in the newly independent Armenia.

Unique Trips That Defined the Year

Some journeys stand out not just for the places they go, but for the stories they create along the way. This year, Levon Travel organized several unique trips that reminded us why people love to explore together.

We started the year in Bali. A girls-only trip. Carefully designed, calm, inspiring, and deeply personal. It felt very much like an Eat, Pray, Love story brought to life.

With its serene rice terraces, clear ocean views, and warm local traditions, Bali offered a beautiful pause from everyday life. Beach walks, temple visits, and moments of reflection in nature made this trip feel like an experience that stayed with us long after the journey ended.

One of the unique experiences was our group tour to Morocco. From the vibrant souks of Marrakech to the blue streets of Chefchaouen, this trip blended culture, history, and adventure in a way that felt natural and exciting.

Travelers walked among ancient medinas, golden dunes, and felt the rhythm of Moroccan life in every town and desert camp. It wasn’t just sightseeing. It was a connection to a new culture and to fellow travelers on the same path.

Groups From and To Many Countries

For Levon Travel, international travel has always worked both ways. Taking Armenians abroad. And just as importantly, helping the world discover Armenia. In 2025, that focus remained stronger than ever.

Throughout the year, we continued welcoming inbound groups visiting Armenia from many different corners of the world.

Wine tourism played a special role this year. Groups came specifically to experience Armenian winemaking, vineyards, and local gastronomy. For many, it was their first encounter with Armenia’s deep wine heritage. And often, a pleasant surprise.

We hosted travelers from Australia, Hungary, Georgia, Lebanon, the United States, Italy, and many other countries. Each group brought its own expectations and interests. Some focused on culture and heritage. Some were returning visitors, while many were discovering Armenia for the very first time.

Levon Travel will continue exploring Armenia with tourists in 2026, and one of the Armenia tours is already available for booking.

Strengthening Presence at Travel Events

Following the global travel trends has always mattered to Levon Travel. In 2025, that presence became even stronger through active participation in major international tourism events.

This year, we again represented Armenia at ITB Berlin, one of the world’s leading travel trade exhibitions. It was a chance to tell Armenia’s story directly. To speak about culture, wine tourism, heritage routes, and modern travel formats.

Levon Travel has been a participant in the event since 1999, so it’s a tradition that we hope will continue in 2026.

We also took part in TTG Rimini 2025, connecting with tour operators, agencies, and industry professionals from across Europe and beyond.

These events are not just about presence but understanding how travel is changing.

Looking Ahead: What’s Next for Levon Travel in 2026

Thirty years in travel gives you a perspective. It teaches you that trends come and go, but trust, experience, and human connection stay.

One of our main focuses remains discovering Armenia for the world. In the year ahead, we are planning even more Armenia-focused tours and expanding inbound travel programs.

We aim to host tourists from different countries, cultures, and age groups. From individual travelers to organized groups. From adults to students and families traveling with children.

A special place in our plans continues to belong to educational travel. Traditionally, Levon Travel supports summer programs and holiday trips for children and students visiting Armenia.

At the same time, corporate travel remains a strong direction for 2026. We will continue supporting companies with well-planned, efficient travel solutions that match real business needs.

Looking ahead, the goal is clear: more meaningful journeys, more thoughtful planning, and more bridges between Armenia and the world.
